FitSM® is designed for professionals who wish to acquire the competencies needed to implement effective ITSM processes without having to delve into the intense details of other frameworks. 

 

 

While Best Practices lack some elements for standardization, FitSM® has been designed to implement auditable standards in these core processes, thus focusing on the essentials in IT Service Management.

FITSM® FOUNDATION CERTIFICATION

 

 

FitSM® Foundation certification provides the basics of service management with a focus on the most important processes to ensure smooth IT operations. FitSM was designed to be compatible with the ISO/IEC 20000-1 standard (requirements for a service management system) and the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).

 

 

Although the FitSM process model, requirements, recommended activities and role model are designed to be lightweight, FitSM can also be used as a first step toward a “full” ITSM implementation, for example, by applying ITIL good practices and/or aiming for compliance with ISO/IEC 20000-1.

 

 

 

 

 

 

FitSM® Foundation Course

 

 

The FitSM® Foundation level allows candidates to certify their ability to implement effective, fundamental IT service management processes.

• Candidates who wish to progress to the advanced level of the qualification and certification scheme

FITSM FOUNDATION ONLINE EXAM FORMAT

 

 

• 20 questions
• Multiple choice format
• 30-minute duration
• 13 marks or more required to pass (out of 20 available) - 65%
• Closed book exam

 

 

There are no prerequisites to access the FitSM® Foundation course and exam.
